Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2026 · Effective immediately
No analytics. No marketing cookies. No fingerprinting.
Only standard server logs. Never sold or shared with advertisers.
No account required. No identity verification of any kind.
What we collect+
We collect the minimum data necessary to operate a web service securely:
- Standard HTTP request data — IP address, browser user-agent, referrer URL, and request timestamp. This is logged automatically by our web server and hosting infrastructure.
- Error and diagnostic logs — Stack traces and API errors generated when something goes wrong. These help us identify and fix bugs.
We do not use analytics trackers, advertising cookies, session recording tools, or any form of cross-site tracking. We do not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use the Bridge.
Blockchain data+
When you initiate a transfer through the Bridge, your wallet broadcasts a transaction directly to the blockchain. This transaction — including your wallet address and transfer amount — is permanently and publicly recorded on-chain.
We have no ability to modify or remove on-chain data. Blockchain records are public and immutable by design. If you have privacy concerns about on-chain activity, consider researching privacy-preserving wallet practices independently.
Data retention+
We retain data for the minimum period necessary:
- IP and access logs — retained for up to 30 days, then deleted.
- Server error logs — retained for up to 90 days for debugging purposes.
- Support correspondence — retained for up to 2 years in case of follow-up inquiries.
After these periods, data is permanently deleted from our systems. We do not archive or back up personal data beyond these windows.
Who we share data with+
We share data only in the following limited circumstances:
- Infrastructure providers — our hosting and CDN providers (such as DigitalOcean, Vercel, and Cloudflare) process request data as part of delivering the service. These providers are contractually bound to protect your data.
- Blockchain networks — when you use the Bridge, your transaction is broadcast to QIE Chain and/or Osmosis. This is inherent to how blockchain transfers work and is not a "sharing" in the traditional sense.
- Law enforcement — only when we are legally compelled to do so by a valid legal process in our operating jurisdiction.
We do not sell personal data. We do not share data with advertising networks, data brokers, or any third party for commercial purposes.
Your rights+
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Request a copy of personal data we hold about you.
- Request deletion or correction of personal data we hold about you, subject to our retention requirements and legal obligations.
- Object to or restrict certain processing of your data.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@qie.digital. We will respond within 30 days. Note that we cannot modify or delete data that exists on public blockchains.
Cookies+
The Bridge uses only functional cookies necessary for the site to operate — such as storing your theme preference (light or dark mode). We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time. Doing so may affect some non-essential features like theme persistence.
Changes to this policy+
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post a notice on the Bridge interface. Your continued use of the service after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
